Schumann Nordisches Lied Chord I.D. William Wieland
First listen to the music. If you are unable to play the song at a piano, here is a YouTube video: Album für die Jugend: 41. Nordisches Lied (Johannes Schröder).
Score: Schumann Nordisches Lied
  1. Write your name and Nordisches Lied on a sheet of staff paper.
  2. Write your favorite clef followed by the key signature and time signature of Nordisches Lied.
  3. Write each chord in close position and root position (line-line-line or space-space-space) on the staff using the rhythm of the actual music. Schumann repeats chords. On your staff paper in measure 6, simply write, "Same as bar 2." Schumann repeats measures 5 times.
  4. Finally, identify each chord with jazz/pop music symbols, e.g.
    A = A major triad
    Gm = G minor triad
    Csus = C suspended triad
    C7 = C dominant seventh chord
    f#o = F sharp diminished triad
    g#o7 = G sharp diminished seventh chord

    (Musicians, publishers and you may use other chord symbols. For example, a G minor triad may be identified as Gm, Gmi, Gmin, G– or simply lower case g.)
