Minor 5-finger patterns are all whole steps (W) except a half step (½) between the 2nd and 3rd notes. The pattern is

Right Hand Finger Numbers:	1		2  3		4		5
Interval:		W	½	W		W
Left Hand Finger Numbers:	5		4  3		2		1

d and a — all white piano keys c and g — one black key in the middle c# and g# — one white key in the middle	Visual Aid Since you probably know your Major 5-finger Patterns, minor 5-finger patterns are easy. To change a major 5-finger pattern to a minor 5-finger pattern, simply lower the middle note a half step. The following button will choose "difficult" keys more often than easy keys.
